The stated purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles.” This experience allow us to “be changed.” By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power—Jesus Christ, the only true Higher Power.
Aid &
Assistance
Overlake offers help to many under-resourced families and individuals in our local community. Overlake provides emergency financial assistance to those who regularly attend Overlake Christian Church, and also to those who are not regular attenders.
Information on who is eligible for emergency financial assistance can be found on our Aid and Assistance Applications located in the Welcome Center and reception areas of the church.
Donations of non-perishable food items may also be dropped off at the receptionist area at the back of the church to support OCC's food bank.

Allow us to help carry your burden. Every biblical counselor understands emotional pain, dashed dreams and God’s love. Our biblical counselors are caring committed Christians who have biblical knowledge and a wealth of life experiences. They are trained in biblical counseling and are available during daytime and evening hours.
Your counseling will be kept confidential. We do not charge fees as volunteers do all counseling. We do ask that you make free will offering to support the counseling ministry. To apply for counseling please submit an application and you will be matched with next appropriate available counselor. Applications are available from our receptionist, Welcome Center in the lobby and online (Adobe

We endeavor to offer an assortment of classes related to helping men, women and couples in their time of need. You will gain biblical insights that will help you grow personally and in your ability to help others in their time of need.
Tuesdays at 7 pm beginning October 7. Come and learn the difference between wants and needs, how to catch up and put your finances on autopilot. Contact caringministries@occ.org to register.
